INTEGRATIVE BREATHING THERAPY

Breathing Muscle Reset – Seoul Sth Korea 17-18 October 2026

Join Dr Rosalba Courtney for her Breathing Muscle Reset weekend workshop In Seoul on Saturday 17 – Sunday 18 October 2026… and many thanks to Yusung Kim, who is hosting our visit!

This workshop is a dynamic, evidence-based training designed for health professionals and individuals interested in optimising breathing health.

The workshop provides a deep dive into functional breathing assessment and rehabilitation, focusing on retraining the respiratory muscles to restore more efficient and natural breathing patterns.

You’ll learn to use the MARM (Manual Assessment of Respiratory Motion), a unique technique for assessing breathing patterns through palpation and observation.

You’ll learn how to apply the MARM hands-on, gaining insight into subtle dysfunctions in diaphragm function, rib cage movement, and upper chest recruitment that might not be obvious with standard respiratory evaluations.

This is followed by Dr Courtney’s ‘Breathing Muscle Reset’ protocol which has been shown to improve symptoms and perceived sense of control in asthmatics, in combination with breathing retraining. It can be used for patients with other chronic respiratory diseases aggravated by dysfunctional breathing.

Simple and effective – ‘The Breathing Muscle Reset’ gives you the skills to assess and treat your patient within 30 minutes.

Additionally, you’ll learn breathing techniques to teach patients to use at home, to best assist their recovery between therapy sessions.

Included is pre-reading material, and after the weekend you’ll have access to videos of the practical techniques that you learn during the workshop !

This course has a strong practical focus. A hallmark of this training is its integrative approach, combining breathing science with practical applications based in osteopathy, physiotherapy, and integrative medicine.

You’ll explore how poor breathing mechanics contribute to a range of physical and emotional dysfunctions—and how targeted interventions can help reset the system.

Open to physiotherapists, osteopaths, bodyworkers, fitness professionals, and even motivated individuals interested in breathwork, the Breathing Muscle Reset workshop provides a supportive environment for deep learning and practical skill development.

With Dr Courtney’s reputation as a thought leader in integrative breathing therapy, the workshop offers a unique opportunity to build cutting-edge expertise in a critical yet often overlooked area of health and performance.
